The EO Atlantic Story

A Legacy of Growth Since 2010

EO Atlantic Canada has been the catalyst for entrepreneurial growth in the Maritimes for over 15 years. It was founded in 2010 with a mission to bridge the gap for local high-growth founders.

Our Purpose

Empowering Atlantic Canada’s most driven entrepreneurs to learn, grow, and thrive through life-enhancing peer connections.

Our Core Values

The DNA of Our Community

Together We Grow

We are committed to each other’s success and well-being, and we unite to celebrate our differences. We may be from different cultures and religions, and have different lived experiences, but EO binds us together across cities and continents.

Trust and Respect

Each of us is unique and equal. Living this value with an open mind and appreciation for different points of view enables us to create a space where everyone can be their complete, authentic selves.

Thirst for Learning

We have an insatiable curiosity. Through curiosity, we grow and widen our horizons. Learning is about more than a class or a workshop. It is about asking the right questions, trying new things, and having curiosity about other members, their life experiences, and their perspectives.

Think Big, Be Bold

We innovate and take risks to make the world a better place for our teams, our families, our communities, and humankind. We think big, and we are bold. We want to make a difference beyond ourselves.

FAQs

Your Questions, Answered
Is EO a networking group?

No. We are a peer-to-peer learning community. While networking happens naturally, our focus is on sharing experie

Think of EO as an Investment rather than a “time-sink.” Core members typically spend about 4 hours a month in their Forum meeting. Beyond that, the commitment is up to you, whether you want to attend local learning events, regional conferences, or global “universities.” Most members find that the more they put in, the more they get out.

Yes! Partners are welcome to join as long as they both meet the individual eligibility requirements. Many partners find that being in separate “Forums” allows them to bring diverse outside perspectives back to their business.

Absolutely. Many of our events are open to “Spouse/Life Partners” because we believe an entrepreneur’s success is deeply tied to their support system at home.

The Forum is the heart of the EO experience. It is a small, confidential peer group (usually 7–10 members) that meets monthly to share deep personal and professional experiences. Unlike a networking group, we don’t give “advice”; we share experiences so you can make your own informed decisions in a safe, non-judgmental space.
